President of Rotaract club of Deonar is Rtr Vasantraj Govindan

Rotaract Club of Deonar came into existence on the 16th of June, 1989 under the Presidential leadership of Rtr. Dnyanesh Amonkar when Rtn. Kulbhushan Jetly was the president of Rotary Club of Deonar. A group of 17 young and enthusiastic citizens started on a journey to thrive for excellence.

Year after year the club has maintained its strength and we are proud to have some of our best members leading the club as Presidents. Today we at the Rotaract Club of Deonar, are about 30-40 Rotaractors, from Anushaktinagar, Chembur, Kurla, Vile Parle etc.

We have an excellent mix of working professionals ( 91 Springboard, D.B Realty, RUR Greenlife, Accenture, Ernst and Young, Deloitte, L.K.P Securities, Reliance Broadcast Ltd, Teach for India etc ) and budding professionals (from institutes like H.R College, Somaiya, M.G.M College, Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology, SIES, K.J Somaiya College of Engineering, IIM Kozhikode, Shah and Anchor Engineering college ). The professional expertise includes Marketing, HR, Medicine, Finance, Law, Software Engineering, Travel to mention a few.

Some of our past members are currently pursuing higher studies abroad or are on their peak of careers in different parts of the world, specifically the USA and the UK. Over the years our club has generated a large number of members into the responsible youth
